Department of Managed Healthcare

The Department of Managed Healthcare regulates managed care plans that offer individual and employer-based health benefits. Additionally, DMHC licenses specialized health plans that offer vision, dental, mental health and alternative health products (acupuncture, chiropractic, Chinese medicine).
