State Programs Committee

The California Association of Health Plans’ State Program Committee identifies and prioritizes both near- and long-term issues for CAHP engagement in regard to state-sponsored lines of business. The Committee also develops CAHP positions and strategies on these issues as appropriate. The Committee meets in-person three times a year and is comprised of operational leaders and government affairs staff from our member health plans. In-person meetings frequently include presentations by staff from the California Department of Health Services and the Managed Risk Medical Insurance Board.
